The car is dual controlled, which means that
there are brake and clutch pedals in the
passenger (instructor) side of the car as
well as the drivers side, and both work in
conjunction with each other.
This gives many people an extra bit of
confidence as they are sure that the
instructor can control the car if needed,
like for example on a tricky hill start!
This also helps drivers get the feel for the
"bite" and how the pedals work. |
